Admission/Registration Questions:

What are the hours for Admissions/Registration?
Admissions/Registration is located on the first floor of the Park Tower building and is open Monday thru Friday, from 6:30 am until 5:45 pm. Weekend admissions are done through the Emergency Department.

What do I need to do if my doctor's office has called to "pre-register" me for an appointment?
Although your doctor may "pre-register" you for an appointment, in order for registration to be completed you must go to Admissions/Registration (either in advance or the day of the appointment) to sign a Consent Form. You should also bring a copy of the doctor's order and your insurance information.

Where do I go to check in for… MRI? Mammography? Ultrasound? X-Ray?
Sign in for MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound registration is located on the second floor of Cobb Tower (the original hospital building) near entrance" C" across from the Cancer Treatment Center.

X-Ray registration is located on the first floor of Cobb Tower (the original hospital building) near the main elevators (#1 and #2).  If you need assistance, please ask any hospital staff member for directions.

Where do I go to check in to have Lab work done?
To sign-in to have lab work done, go to the Admissions/Registration desk located on the first floor of Park Tower. If you come through the main Park Tower entrance, turn right and proceed to the second desk on the left.

An alternate location is the ORMC Outreach Lab in the Milledgeville Medical Center, Suite 220, 750 N. Cobb Street (hours 8:00 A.M. - 5 P.M.).

Where is the Cashier's Office?
The Cashier's office is located in the lobby of the Cobb Street Entrance, the old main entrance of the hospital, which faces North Cobb Street. The Cashier office is immediately to your right.

What are the hours for the Cashier's Office?
The Cashier's Window is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday with the exception of Holidays.

How can I make a payment to the hospital?
For your convenience, we accept payments made by check, money order or credit card.

Credit Card payments can be made in person, by phone or online.

   In Person: Payments can be made at the Cashier's office located in the lobby of Cobb Tower. You may also make a payment at the Park Tower Registration Area until 6:00 pm.

   By Phone: Credit card payments are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm by calling 478-454-3582.

   Online: You can make a payment online 24 hours a day using your credit card by clicking here.

Where is the ATM machine?
For your convenience, an ATM machine is located on the first floor of Park Tower down the hall from the Radiology Registration, near the vending machines.

Does the hospital have a visitation policy for the flu season?
In order to protect our patients and staff, anyone who exhibits flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to visit patients. In addition, the hospital may choose to restrict visitation during flu season by children under the age of 17, as individuals in this age group carry a higher likelihood of spreading the flu virus. For further information, call the hospital at 478-454-3505 or stop by the Information Desk in the lobby of Park Tower.

Where can I go, other than the emergency department, if I am not feeling well?
Convenient Care MD offers after-hours treatment for minor illnesses and injuries when your regular doctor's office is closed. The clinic is located in the Columbia Center at 111 Fieldstone Drive in Milledgeville. Hours are Weekdays from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturday, Sunday, & Holidays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Where do I go to pick up my medical records?
Please visit the Health Information Department, located on the second floor of Cobb Tower. It is most easily accessed by entering the old main entrance of the hospital, which faces North Cobb Street. Turn right into the first hallway and you will find the Health Information Department on the left. For more information call 478-454-3840.

Where is the Cancer Treatment Center?
The Cancer Treatment Center is located in separate facility from the main hospital building. If you park in the parking lot for Park Tower (the parking lot beside the pond), the Cancer Treatment Center is the tan building on top of the hill with the green stripe.

Where is MRI?
The MRI facility is separate from the main hospital building. It is located in the small building diagonally across from the Cancer Treatment Center near Entrance "C" of the Cobb Tower Building. Entrance "C" can be identified by its handicapped walkway.
