To earn and maintain The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™, an organization must undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least every three years.
Accreditation by The Joint Commission helps provide assurance that patients of Oconee Regional Medical Center are receiving quality healthcare and value in accordance with the Commission’s nationally accepted standards.
In addition, all our Radiologists are board certified by the American College of Radiology, and all of our Radiologic Technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Laboratory services at the hospital are accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
The U.S. Department of Department of Health and Human Services has certified Oconee Regional Medical Center as a provider of Medicare and Medicaid services.
