ORMC Named a "Best Hospital" by U.S. News & World Report
Oconee Regional Medical Center (ORMC) is among the nation’s Best Regional Hospitals for Pulmonary Medicine in 2011-2012, according to U.S. News & World Report, publisher of Best Hospitals. U.S. News annually publishes the Best Hospitals ranking in July. At the midpoint of the 2011-2012 year, its editors have now recognized 247 hospitals outside of major metropolitan areas, including ORMC, as Best Regional Hospitals. ORMC Celebrates 55th Anniversary on March 7, 2012
On Wednesday, March 7, ORMC will celebrate its 55th anniversary. Built for $1.2 million, Baldwin County Hospital opened on March 7, 1957 and was licensed for 80 beds.

Walking Track Closes March 19
ORMC's Walking Track will close, effective Monday, March 19, for resurfacing. It will re-open in approximately 5 weeks with a new and improved track surface.
